A rebranding for Montpellier Street Kulture (MSK), an association promoting the local urban culture scene. Axis 2 of the project focuses on social engagement: a bold, striking graphic approach inspired by street art and activist design — a typography that vibrates, a contrast that shouts, an eye that watches.
Montpellier Street Kulture (MSK) is an association founded in 2022, dedicated to promoting and supporting the local urban culture scene. After gaining the trust of local stakeholders, MSK aims for a new identity and a more impactful communication strategy for its upcoming events. The brief asked: how can we embody the diversity and energy of urban cultures while encouraging engagement and discovery? The answer — a vibrant, hand-crafted typography combined with an eye symbolizing a fresh perspective on urban culture, and a dynamic red/blue contrast representing energy and diversity.
